About Isembard Isembard is building a network of high-performance factories for critical industries. We combine advanced machine tools, robotics and our own software, MasonOS, to make precision components for aerospace, defence, energy and frontier technology companies, with factories across the UK, US, Germany and France. Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration. The role The parts you cut go into aircraft, defence systems, energy infrastructure and robots. This is a hands-on machining role at our Hamburg factory, where you own your work from the program to the finished part rather than handing it down a line. The factory is still being built, so you will help shape the setup rather than wait for it. What you'll do Program, simulate and optimise toolpaths in 3-axis, 5-axis and mill-turn where it applies. Set up, prove out and run jobs to aerospace and defence standards. Own cycle time and machine utilisation. Choose fixturing, tooling and cutting parameters for aluminium, steels, titanium and Inconel. Take new parts from drawing to repeatable production, with DFM feedback for the customer.
