283 – Directeur.rice des Finances Premier opérateur public européen de traitement et de valorisation des déchets, le Syctom, l’agence métropolitaine des déchets ménagers, est un acteur majeur de l'économie circulaire et de la ville durable. Au service de 81 communes franciliennes et de près de 6 millions d'habitants, le Syctom accomplit sa mission de service public avec pour objectif de faire des déchets une ressource. Une mission exigeante qu'il conduit grâce à ses 145 collaboratrices et collaborateurs et 7 apprenti.es, en lien étroit avec les collectivités adhérentes (Ville de Paris et 10 Etablissements publics territoriaux du Grand Paris) en charge de la collecte des déchets et l'ensemble des acteurs de la filière. Le budget annuel s’élève à 822 M€ et le Plan des Investissements 825 M€ d’ici 2030. Le Syctom traite et valorise chaque année 2,2 millions de tonnes de déchets ménagers dans ses unités de traitement innovantes (3 unités de valorisation énergétique - UVE -, 5 centres de tri, 2 centres de transfert et une future unité de Biométhanisation).
