About nu glass The Robot Pilot is responsible for operating our laser robot technology on-site, ensuring strict adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Reporting to the Robotics Manufacturing and Support Engineer, this role plays a key part in troubleshooting issues and maintaining efficient, continuous operations within a collaborative team. Your responsibilities As a Robot Pilot at nu glass in Spiez, you will operate and manage robotic systems directly on-site as part of a 45-hour workweek on a 12-month fixed-term contract starting January 11, 2027. Responsibilities & Areas of Expertise - Machine Operation & Daily Maintenance: Operating and running the laser robot (CNC) at the assigned site; systematically performing Level 1 maintenance, including daily cleaning, thorough cleaning of protective glass panels, and verification of safety barriers before starting each shift. - Quality Control & Production Monitoring: Conducting visual inspections and quality checks; accurately recording production tracking sheets, scrap rates, and performance data (KPIs) in Odoo. - Safety & Site Discipline (5S Methodology): Strictly complying with EHS/OHS requirem…
