Description

We are looking for a robotics diagnostics engineer who enjoys getting to the bottom of complex system issues. You will investigate unexpected behaviour in our autonomous drone-in-a-box system, combining log and code analysis with hands-on experiments on engineering systems and bench setups. Bridging support and engineering, you will turn field reports into clear explanations, actionable fix recommendations and practical mitigations. Responsibilities Own investigations into system issues from new bug reports through to actionable findings, working with support to capture symptoms, operating conditions and relevant logs Analyze logs and source code, develop hypotheses, and reproduce and isolate failures through targeted tests on engineering systems and bench setups Assess issue severity with engineering, considering safety impact, system availability, affected versions and conditions, and uncertainty; escalate critical findings promptly Give engineering clear evidence, reproduction steps and recommendations for fixes, and help verify that proposed changes address the underlying issue Recommend and validate workarounds and mitigations with engineering, and give support clear guidance…
