About ExcellGene ExcellGene is a Swiss biologics development company based in Monthey, innovating in mammalian cell protein expression and bioprocess development. The company develops cell lines (CHO and HEK) and processes that enable biotech and pharmaceutical clients to produce proteins, from early research to clinical use. Its edge is speed and protein expression know-how. ExcellGene also licenses its own proprietary cell hosts, CHOExpress and HEKExpress. ARCHIMED took a majority stake in ExcellGene in late 2025. The role ExcellGene is hiring a Vice President Product & Marketing to build its product and marketing function and drive the next phase of growth.
