Your missionYou lead a cross-functional team of 4-6 software developers and ensure their further development, both disciplinary and technical You and your team contribute to the further development of several core parts of our software. Depending on the situation, you will take on different roles: coach, motivator or sparring partner You are still hands-on yourself and actively develop and contribute to high quality through code reviews Be the coach of the team members, run 1:1s and feedback discussions Support the personal and career development of individual developers Support team culture and bonding via team events and other measures Hire new team members and align the needs of your team with the engineering manager Your profileProfound engineering experience University degree in computer science, engineering or similar 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Python, C++/Rust is a plus You already have experience in managing/leading a team incl. hiring, 1:1s, giving feedback, building teams, delivering quality code on time You still like to develop code but want to have a bigger impact beyond that by shaping your team.
