How to Make a Simple CV for Driver, Labour and Trade Jobs
October 14, 2026
For driver, helper, mason, electrician, plumber and other trade jobs, employers want to see quickly: who you are, what you can do, where you worked and how to reach you. A clean one-page CV does that. You can write it on your phone.
What to put in
- Name and phone number — a number you answer, ideally with WhatsApp. Add your city.
- The job you want — for example "Driver" or "Electrician".
- Your skills — short points: types of vehicle, licence type, tools you can use, kinds of work you have done.
- Work experience — employer, place, years, and what you did, newest first.
- Education or training — certificates, trade tests, courses.
- References — one or two people who can confirm your work, with their permission.
Tips
- Be honest about experience. If you are asked to demonstrate a skill, you will be found out.
- Use short lines, not long paragraphs.
- Check spelling, and above all check that your phone number is correct.
- Save it as a PDF or a clear photo so it opens on any phone.
Where to use it
Post your CV on this site so employers can find you, and attach it when you apply. Keep a copy on your phone so you can send it quickly when someone asks.
